Vacancy

 We currently have two vacancies which could either be taken by two people as two separate roles or the positions could be combined to create a role for one person.

 

Position: Term Time Assistant/Holiday Club Manager
Hours: Term time: 12pm – 6:15pm Monday – Thursday & 12pm – 6pm Friday.
Holiday Club Manager: 7:45am – 6:15pm Monday – Thursday & 7:45am – 6pm Friday
(These could either be taken as separate jobs or by the same person as one role)
Location: Busy Bees @ LPS in Ledbury, Herefordshire
Rate of Pay: Discussed upon application
Closing Date: 13th March 2015
Interviews: w/c 16th March 2015
Start Date: Upon receipt of two references and an enhanced DBS check

The role:
Both roles are to support and extend children’s play and learning, contributing to an enabling environment indoors and outdoors, supervise snack and meal times and adhere to policies and procedures. The managerial role, in addition to the above, will also involve taking bookings, planning the Holiday Club programme, sourcing resources and managing a small team.
All applicants must hold at least an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent plus previous experience of working within an Early Years environment. For the managerial role, previous experience of supervising or managing is desirable but full training and a thorough induction will be provided. You will have an outstanding knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), play and child development and demonstrate this in your practice. You will also have a sound understanding of safeguarding requirements.
Offers will be made subject to a DBS Check at Enhanced Level and two satisfactory references. All positions are subject to a 6 month probationary period.
