Ofsted Inspection

On Friday 29th April, we were inspected by Ofsted.  The inspection took place under the new, more rigorous inspection framework which was introduced in September 2015. The Inspector was with us for a full day where she observed teaching and learning, examined data, reviewed policies and procedures and ensured all welfare requirements were met. She spoke to staff, ensuring that they were able to recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns.

We are all absolutely delighted to be recognised as an 'outstanding' childcare provision by Ofsted. In particular, we are thrilled to be described as 'an exceptional preschool' where 'the quality of teaching is exceptional.'

We are looking forward to building on the comments from the Inspector as from September, we will be led by an Early Years Teacher as Emma, the Manager, qualifies this term following her studies at the University of Worcester. All other staff will be fully qualified, further enhancing our ability to provide the highest standards of teaching and learning, recognised as being 'highly effective'. The recognition that 'all children, including those in receipt of funding, make remarkable progress in relation to their starting points' is pleasing as our dedicated team do their utmost to promote children's learning and development.
