A role has arisen at our ‘Outstanding’ childcare setting in Ledbury. We are looking to employ a motivated, committed and enthusiastic team player to work Preschool, Breakfast and After School Club hours.

At Preschool, the successful applicant will be supporting children with special educational needs, enabling them to access activities and experiences and extending their play. Hours at Breakfast and After School Club will involve supervising play and setting up activities indoors and outdoors as part of a small team. All applicants must hold at least a relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above plus previous experience of working at an Early Years setting, preferably supporting children with special educational needs Applicants will have an outstanding knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), play and child development and demonstrate this in practice. A sound understanding of safeguarding is essential. Applicants are required to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written enabling them to engage effectively with other staff, parents and professionals. Experience with using online Learning Journey systems would be advantageous. Offers will be made subject to a DBS Check at Enhanced Level and two satisfactory references. All positions are subject to a 6 month probationary period.
