Visit to Coffee # 1 and Ledbury Market

As our focus is on Ledbury and the community, we decided to have a walk into town to visit a coffee shop and the stalls at the market.  Some of the children excitedly told us that they'd been to Coffee # 1 before!

The children sat beautifully whilst waiting for their drinks to arrive. They passed the time by colouring in some pictures to be entered into a competition.  Michelle took the orders and Emma ordered the drinks at the counter - mini milkshakes and baby hot chocolates.  When the drinks arrived, we packed away the colourings and the children sat really well whilst drinking their drinks.  We even had a gentleman come over to us before he left and praise the children for their beautiful behaviour and our care of them - "it's obvious they're very well look after."  The staff in Coffee # 1 also commented on how well behaved the children were.  We'll definitely be going again!

Afterwards, we walked into town where the children were attracted to the Christmas display in Well Worth It.  Then we pressed the button on the traffic lights and Mollie said "we have to wait for the green man."

There were only a few stalls at the market but we still enjoyed having a look.  We were able to name lots of different fruits and vegetables and talk about which we liked and didn't like.  One of the stall holders gave the children some clementines which we ate on our way back to Busy Bees.
